Grayson Reusable Bedpads Allegro Medical presents the Grayson Reusable Bedpads which offer three layers of protection and comfort. The reusable washable bed pads have a quilted cotton/polyester surface, absorbent inner layer and waterproof backing. These pads save having to do a midnight bed change. Caregivers don’t get much sleep as it is so why night save every minute you can. These pads are soft against the skin, keep the bed linens dry, and, most importantly, they stay in place and don’t tear apart. They wash well and dry quickly.

These pads are great for a baby crib and especially for toddlers. They are washable and durable. They are very convenient for traveling. Unlike other pads, these have flaps you can use to tuck them under the mattress on two sides. This keeps them from bunching up or moving, which is a tremendous benefit. They’re also quite strong, and have gone through many, many washings and still look new.

If you are working with someone who does not think he’s incontinent and thus resists using pads, you can easily put one of these between the mattress and the bottom sheet. That way it’s out of sight, but provides a level of protection for the mattress, and some absorption, if an accident should occur.  (I wouldn’t recommend this approach for someone who is regularly incontinent, of course — then you need the pad in place above the bottom sheet).
